Temperament
Крупная, спокойная и независимая кошка. Норвежская лесная привязана к семье, но не навязчива, охотно проводит время сама. Отлично лазает, любит высоту. С детьми и другими животными уживается.
Care
Полудлинная двойная шерсть с водоотталкивающим остевым волосом: вычёсывать два-три раза в неделю, в линьку ежедневно. Нужны крепкие когтеточки и высокие полки. Наследственно значимы гипертрофическая кардиомиопатия и болезнь накопления гликогена — у племенных животных должны быть тесты.
Origin
Аборигенная порода Норвегии, веками жила на фермах и в лесах. Признана официально только в 1970-е годы.
