Temperament
Подвижная, любопытная и очень контактная кошка с необычной внешностью. Девон-рекс ходит за хозяином, сидит на плече, участвует во всём. Плохо переносит одиночество. Голос негромкий.
Care
Короткая волнистая шерсть почти не линяет, но кожа выделяет секрет: протирать и купать раз в две-три недели. Уши крупные, в них скапливается много выделений — чистить регулярно. Мёрзнет, любит тепло. Наследственно значимы кардиомиопатия и наследственная миопатия.
Origin
Порода началась в 1959 году в графстве Девон с кудрявого котёнка по кличке Кирли. Мутация оказалась отличной от корниш-рекса, поэтому породы разные.

- The commonest heart disease in cats and the main cause of sudden death. It gives no signs for a long time; the first may be fast breathing at rest or the hind legs suddenly giving out. In this breed heart scans are done on schedule — ask your vet from what age.
- OccursSkin care
- With no coat, the skin produces oil with nothing to absorb it: it collects in the folds and between the toes. Wipe every few days, bathe as needed. And remember such a cat gets cold easily and burns in the sun by a window.
