Temperament
Очень активная, любопытная и контактная кошка. Корниш-рекс не сидит на месте, лазает везде, ходит за хозяином и требует общения. Плохо переносит одиночество. Голос негромкий.
Care
Короткая волнистая шерсть без остевого волоса почти не линяет, но кожа выделяет секрет: протирать раз в неделю, купать раз в две-три недели. Уши крупные, чистить регулярно. Мёрзнет — нужны тёплые лежанки. Обмен веществ быстрый, ест больше обычной кошки. Наследственно значима кардиомиопатия.
Origin
Порода началась в 1950 году в Корнуолле с кудрявого котёнка Каллибанкера. Мутация отличается от девон-рекса, поэтому породы разные.

- The commonest heart disease in cats and the main cause of sudden death. It gives no signs for a long time; the first may be fast breathing at rest or the hind legs suddenly giving out. In this breed heart scans are done on schedule — ask your vet from what age.
- OccursSkin care
- With no coat, the skin produces oil with nothing to absorb it: it collects in the folds and between the toes. Wipe every few days, bathe as needed. And remember such a cat gets cold easily and burns in the sun by a window.
